By day, I'm an active duty Marine Officer with extensive experience in logistics operations management and engineer project management. I've managed operational planning teams, coordinated military engineering and supply distribution projects overseas, and supported service member professional development. 

But that's my day job/career. By night I'm an RRCA-certified running coach and the host of the New Mission Career Transition Podcast. I'm preparing for my own military transition. I figured I could learn good transition information and share what I'm learning simultaneously (well...almost simultaneously) through this podcast. I currently work as a Manager of People Engagement and Onboarding at SYPartners in Manhattan, NY, but my journey to the consulting world was slightly unconventional.

Growing up in San Mateo, CA I dreamed of being a singer. After 30+ shows in the bay area, recording a solo jazz album, traveling on a National Broadway tour, moving to LA, and becoming a Casting Assistant for TV and film, I packed up everything I had with the dream once again to be on stage in New York. Countless auditions and multiple concert performances later, I realized that working long and late hours in restaurants while trying to pursue the dream of being on Broadway just wasn't enough. With the help of a friend, I found myself working in Talent Recruiting for SYPartners in the hopes of finding a better quality of life. 
In almost five years at SYPartners, I have worked in Talent Acquisitions and People Operations before my current role in Learning & Flourishing.
